With diverse backgrounds in disability services, business, finance, and community leadership, they work together to guide our organisation with care, integrity, and innovation.

Paul Wyatt
Board Director
Paul is the founder of Unique Support, Chief Executive since 2016 with a wealth of knowledge and experience within the disability and charity sector.
Paul has always had a keen interest in the care sector, starting his career as a support worker for Government in the UK after 10 years of military service. Paul’s career excelled and by 2003 Paul had become a registered manager and an internal verifier for the British Government.
Paul then went on to work for the largest and biggest charity within the UK, (The Together Trust as Registered Manager). Moving to a mainstream Secondary School as Pastoral Care manager before being headhunted for Children’s services for a private disability provider in within the North of England.
Paul emigrated with his family to Perth, Australia in 2013 and took a new role as a coordinator for The Autism of Western Australia and in 2016 collaborated with other professionals to which Unique Support evolved and ecame a registered non for profit disability provider, with an amazing reputation for dedication and attention to detail.

Dave Wolstenholme
Board Director
Dave Wolstenholme comes from a business background of new business enterprise, medium business growth, and large business sustainability. Dave has successfully set-up businesses in a variety of industries such as transport and logistics, immigration, retail, and manufacturing.
Dave worked in the Mental Health Sector in UK in medium and high secure units. Having since immigrated to Australia, Dave worked in corporate roles in mining and gas.
Dave was instrumental in business success through team leadership, cost analysis and reduction, project management, and ensuring financial viability for large departments.
Dave co-founded Unique Support with Paul Wyatt by using his business experience to start-up the organisation. Dave joined Paul as a Director in June 2022.

Colette Knox
Managing Director
Colette Knox is a seasoned business leader with over 15 years of expertise in financial management and organisational governance. She holds qualifications in Accounting, Business, and Quality Auditing, and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration.
Her career spans both entrepreneurship and executive management. After establishing and running her own bookkeeping practice following motherhood in 2015, Colette transitioned to the disability services sector, joining Unique Support Services full-time in 2020.
As Managing Director, she oversees board-level decisions and provides leadership across finance, human resources, governance and regulatory compliance. Her guidance has been pivotal in driving the organisation’s growth under the NDIS framework, ensuring alignment with complex compliance requirements.
Known for combining long-term foresight with hands-on operational engagement, Colette shapes Unique Support Services’ direction while remaining closely involved in day-to-day functions. Her blend of financial expertise, compliance knowledge, and people-focused leadership positions her as a trusted executive.

Diane Avice
Strategic Director
Diane brings over 18 years of national experience in the disability sector to Unique Support Services, joining the senior leadership team in 2022. A long-time ally of the organisation, her appointment marked a strategic expansion of the leadership team, aligning with Unique’s vision for inclusive, person-centred growth.
Her career spans a wide range of supervisory and management roles across Disability Employment Services, Local Area Coordination with the WA State Government, and Specialist Planning with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
Diane has specialised in complex planning for participants with behaviours of concern and has worked collaboratively with State Governments across Australia to improve outcomes for people with disability.
Known for her values-driven leadership and dynamic presence, Diane is a passionate change agent, skilled in coaching and mentoring, and committed to empowering both her team and the people we support. Outside of her professional work, Diane dedicates her time to volunteering with a number of community and global organisations, including the United Nations Association of Australia (WA Division), 100 Women, Mama Respond, Bethanie, and TEDx Perth. She is also a proud mother, daughter, friend, and an active member of her church community.
